Opposition presidential candidates Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine(NUP) Patrick Amuriat (FDC)and Gen Mugisha Muntu (ANT) have met today to call upon their voters to go and vote, guard and protect their vote during tomorrow 14th January’s polling.
The three believe when Ugandan’s turn up in huge numbers to vote, the can unseat the incumbent Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
During a press conference, Amuriat has said that this is their first step as opposition leaders towards a “Unity of Purpose”.
“We argue Ugandans to wake up early morning to go and vote, after casting your vote please stay to protect your vote.,” they appealed to their voters.
Uganda is expected to go to the polls on Thursday, January 14, to decide the next president of the Republic of Uganda.
Candidates in the race include National Unity Platform’s Robert Kyagulanyi, FDC’s Patrick Amuriat Oboi, ANT’s Gen Mugisha Muntu, NRM’ Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Museveni, John Katumba (Independent) Nancy Kalembe (Independent) Willy Mayambala ( Independent), Joseph Kabuleta ( Independent) Henry Tumukunde (Independent), Nobert Mao (DP) and Fred Mwesigye (Independent).
However, as of this story publication, the Military broke into the house of National Unity Platform candidate Kyagulanyi and allegedly arrested all his security guards and anyone they could see around my premises.
